Hi,
I know this is a long shot, but I read a post you made in 2001. It was about a William Douglas. I am looking for a William Douglass (it is spelled with two s's.)I'm actually looking for his parents. He was born in Charles Co. Maryland, in 1720. He married a "Rachael" in 1746, and died in Franklin Co. P.A. in 1786. His Children were Robert, Samuel, William, Martha, Joseph, Rachael and Mary. I know we may be of different lines but your extensive search on the Douglas peaked my interest. I see your name is spelled with 2 S's. Mine is one s. As we know the Douglas(s) spelling has always changed throughout generations. In my case it's my grandfather Robert George Douglas, who was born originally with 2 S's. He dropped the extra s, stating that there were no 'ass-es" in the Douglasses. Boy, that still urkes my dad. Anyhow, I wanted to just ask about your William Douglas.... Thank-you! Wendy~
