On his marriage reg. with Maretta Milligan Keech in 1878, Sam states parents to be Luke Bell and Ann Clark- however, on this 1881 census for Luke and Ann, there is another Samuel with them age 14- you don't usually name two sons in same family same first name? I am confused. Checking 1851 Camden census to see which Bell's are where and with whom........

Obviously something not right somewhere, as in 1881 census here is Luke age 43, Ann age 33, when in Camden 1851 Samuel Clark Bell's parents Luke and Ann were 35 and 29, and Sam was 8 in 1851. This is very obviously another family, but must be related to the first Luke Bell, and to Sam Clark Bell. (Have not yet figured this out- August 2006, are the dates and ages wrong in one of the census transcriptions?)
