Looking for my mom's family. Father: Elmer Kimberling, born in PA. Mother Goldie, last name unknown, believe she died about 1917. Mom had 2 sisters, believe Dorothy & maybe Beatrice. Her father remarried, and eventually the 3 sisters were placed in foster homes. Mom was placed with a family named Hair, I believe she went to Monticello High School, we found a cheerleader outfit among her things the Hair family sent to us when mom died in 1956. My dad looked for her father/sisters at that time (she had not kept in tough with them) and believe one sister was living in Portland, OR area and her father Elmer Kimberling was terminally ill in 1956 when dad advised them of my mom's death and neither was able to attend her funeral. Don't know when mom went to live with the Hairs; she married Leon Francis Wakeland when she was 16 and her first daughter, Shirley Gene, was born 8/11/30 in Indiana. I really hope someone can help me find the Hair family and possibly give me info on the Kimberlings.
