Funeral services for Letcher BISHOP, 63, Baldwin Park, Ca, who died May 10, were conducted by Edler Norman GURWELL and Elder Robert McDONALD in Baldwin Park. Burial was in the Live Oak Cemetery, Monrovia, Ca.

Mr. BISHOP, retired councilman and former mayor of Baldwin Park, Ca, served seven years on the city council there. He had retired last month.

He was born in Teges, Ky April 17, 1908, a son of Columbus and Dora FELTY BISHOP. He came to Hamilton in 1924 and resided there until 1928.

He was employed at the Ford Motor Co. while in Hamilton. Mr. BISHOP served in the U.S. Marine Corps. from 1929 until 1931.

He married Goldie HOUGE in Yuma, Ariz, Jan. 26, 1932.

Mr. BISHOP owned and operated a service station for 20 years.

He leaves his wife; a daughter Betty Alice, at home; three brothers, Talley BISHOP, Sand Gap, Ky, Theo BISHOP, Batavia and Jess BISHOP, Clarksville, Ind; five sisters, Mary CHESTNUT, Tampa, Fla, Amanda BISHOP, Okeana, Lizzie SAMS
and Rhoda BISHOP, both of Hamilton, and Eunice McDANIEL, Manchester, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edgar BISHOP and Fred BISHOP.
