I am looking for The Rev John Baird's parents. I am new to geneology, but have had the "help" of relatives. Are you aware of a privately published book, "The Rev. John Baird Legacy: a Baird History & Genealogy" By Nelle Huber publihed abt 1986 by McDowell Publications, Utica, KY. My grandmother had a copy that I remember fr. 20 yrs ago. It was lost when she was moved to a nursing home. the LDS Family History Library Catalog has it listed. I would be interested in sharing what info I have. The Rev Baird would be my great, great, great great grandfather, and I was at the Historical Marker ceremony about 35 years ago. my grandfather James B. Scott was born in Larue Cty in 1897, and as a child I visited many of his siblings on family trips.
