Hello William,
I hope that the following information will be helpful. Charles and Jacob that you listed on your post are the son's of William Elliot and Susan Elliot (Brunk). William Elliott is my great great great grandfather. William fought in the Revolutionary War with General Arthur St Claire. After the war he and many others went into and founded the State of Kentucky. Elliott historians stated that he built the first house in Louisville Kentucky. He left Louisville and spent most of the remainder of his life on his homestead in LaRue County. Their homestead was across the creek from Thomas Lincolns Sunken Springs Farm near Hodgens Mill (now called Hodgenville.)
William and Susan had 8 children and all being born in Hodgenville. #1. John Elliott b. 1795 mar. to Margaret Owens in 1820. #2. William Elliott b. 1796 mar. to Synthia A (Miller) #3 Jacob (Jake) Elliott b. 1804 mar. to Mary Ann (Polly) Jackson #4 Fielding Elliott b. 1806 mar. Maria (Jeffries) #5 Thomas Whitman Elliott b. 1808 (and my gg grandfather) mar.
