I have a JOHN WRIGHT who married SARAH SOLLERS 30 May 1809 in Baltimore, MD. The Cecils of MD, VA & KY were cousins which makes this interesting that a John Wright had married a Cecil in KY in 1808.

Benjamin Sollers Cecil s one I have more on if anyone is intereste:

Benjamin Sollers Cecil (1764, Pulaski Co., VA -1807, Wayne Co., KY) - Married Priscilla "Peggy" Boyleston in 1782, VA.

Benjamin Sollers Cecil (1794, Montgomery Co., VA - 1856, Newton Co., AR) - married Sarah Hatfield in 1821.

Benjamin Sr., and Priscilla had a daughter Rebecca "Becky" Cecil who married Ezkiel NEUPART* 3 Jan 1805, Wayne Co., KY
*Also spelled Ezekiel Newport.

William Mitchell & Nancy Hall Witten had daughter Rebecca Jane Witten abt 1820 Tazwell Co., VA, who married William GOSE 11 Jan 1840.

William Mitchell Witten was the son of Thomas & Eleanor Cecil Witten Jr. Thomas Witten Jr was the son of Thomas & Elizabeth Cecil Witten Sr.

The Wittens and Cecils inner-married over several generation from Maryland to Virginia to Kentucky, etc..

I hope this is helpful to others

Robert C. Sollars
