Surnames: WHEELER/BROWN Indiana and Ohio
I would like to know if there is someone who can help me help an elder (88 year old) friend whose father, T.F. WHEELER, died in Marion area around November 07, 1903. This man was a resident of the Soldier's Home. He died in an accident which was recorded i n a newspaper article of which we have a very old copy; no date on the article. Theodore F. WHEELER fell from a barn at the home of his son-in-law, Leander BROWN which was located one mile east of the Soldier's Home. Accident was on a Saturday. T. F. WHEELER was listed as a member of Co. E, 16th Wisconsin; infantryman. The burial was to be in the Silent Circle at the Soldier's Home.

If I might be able to pay for some assistance with this research, my friend will provide the funds. We are looking for the date and name of the original article of the fall, a copy the obituary, if one was done, and also a location for application for or a copy of the death certificate. Below is what I have found regarding the family of a Leandar BROWN; in the 1910 census is listed Leandar BROWN's wife as Elsie M., age 30, born in Ohio. This is, as best as we can determine. the sister to Clarence WHEELER, the youngest son of T.F. WHEELER and his wife, Mirana WHEELER/WHEELER.

I can provide other details if someone can contact me.
