Thank you for this wonderful offer. I hope it still is in effect as it is now 2009.
I am hoping to get the Rice Cemetery documented. It is in Oil Springs, Ky outside of Paintsville. I was there in September but it was too overgrown for me to get up to the top of the hill. The owners of the land (who live at the base of the hill - still surname Rice) said they'd hoped to get it cleared so people could have access to the gravesites.
I have one picture of my relatives at my grandfather's grave, but unfortunately they couldn't afford to get him a marker. But I am hoping that the marker for my great grandfather will be there.
When the weather is better, and hopefully with some time allowance for the Rice family to do the clearing do you think you could make it to Oil Springs?
