Searching for parentage of Joseph Perkins BROOKS. He was born somewhere in KY, in 1860. He married Azora Ellen COLBERT in Arkansas in 1882. She was born in KY as well. From census information, his father was born in VA and his mother in KY. They had four children:

He married Elizabeth A. COTTON in 1905 she was born in MS and was Indian.
