Guy E. Hein, son of the late Karen Knox, died suddenly Sept. 2, 1987, in St. Paul as a result of an automobile accident, at the age of 24.
Memorial services were held Sept. 8 at Swanson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Anderson officiating.
Mr. Hein was born May 13, 1963 in Minneapolis. He attended schools in both Robbinsale and Forest Lake and enlisted in the Armed Forces in May of 1981, serving until May of 1987. He was first involved in the motor transportation department and later as a medical specialist serving stateside, in Germany, and later in Honduras of South America. Following his discharge he came to make his home in Pine City.
He is survived by his grandmother, Alma McLearen of Golden Valley; step-father John Knox of Pine City; aunts, Janet Fitzgerald of Maple Grove, Dorothy Bennett of Bartlesville, OK, Lynda Bundtzen-Wells of Williamstown, MA, Joan Miller of Denver, CO, and one uncle, Franklin Hein of St. Louis Park.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Knox, material grandfather and paternal grandparents.
