There was a David Kemp in Frederick MD who was single in 1860 but, there also was one in Funkstown,MD with wife Margaret(23) & son William.
This same family with children George 11,Laura 8, Anna 5,& David 2, was still in Funkstown 1870.
David was stil living in 1900 & was with dau. Anna Westinghouse. His dau. Laura married Augusta Stenger & she died in Hennepin co. 1955.

btw...in 1850 VA there was a Margaret Day age 16 in Shenandoah & one in Martinsburg age 18.
