I am looking for any newspaper article on the murder of Sylvia Irene Babcock anywhere from 1963-1968. She was my step-grandmother. The murder took place in the Norfolk-Portsmouth-Chesapeake, Virginia area. She & my grandfather, William Warren Babcock were separated only a few months when she was murdered by her landlord's son. He raped, stabbed and strangled her to death. I know that he hung himself in prison before he could be paroled.
