Eileen,
In August I did some on site family research and discovered the series of books you mention, all for sale, at the Sauk County Historical Society. The books are very reasonable in price.
Author is: Erhart A. Mueller
The four books are titled:
ALso In Sumpter
Forever In Sumpter
Always In Sumpter
Return To Sumpter
The address to order the books is:
Sauk County Historical Society
P.O. Box 651
531 Fourth Avenue
Baraboo, Wisconsin
53913-0651
They have wonderful archive information....wills, deeds, newspapers, High School annuals etc. that I have NOT found anywhere else related to Sumpter, Kingston, Merrimack and the county of Sauk.
My paternal family is from their....the Siebeckers. These books have given me much detail and great information. Hope they help you also.
