Hi Miriam, Thanks for the response. The only thing I have on our Christian Baughman is a listing of a land grant of 400 ac.s located in Warriors Mark Pa. Warriors Mark is in what is now Blair Co., about 20 mi south of State Collage and a few mi. west of Tyrone. I do not have a spouse or siblings, but he may have had a bro. George. His sons were Jacob Baughman (my gggggrandfather) was b. jan 27,1799 m Catharine Womer 1822 and bought several hundred ac, of land in what is now Decatur Twp. in Clearfield Co. They both died in 1854 and were buried along with other family on the property. I have located and visited the site. The cemetary is in a wooded area surounded by old strip mines near Osceola Mills. John Baughman b aug 18, 1801 m Rebecca Emeigh in 1839 d jan.1, 1876. buried in Baughman cemetary about 4 mi north of Tyrone. Christian Jr or Christian II was b july 25, 1806 m Mary Catharine Sharer oct.21, 1834 d jan 12, 1864. Believed to be buried in Mt Pleasant cemetary near Port Matilda. I plan a trip there in the spring to varify that. Henry E Baughman was b dec 22, 1813 m Mary Ann Bumbarger sept 3, 1840 d nov.26, 1881 He is buried in Baughman cemetary near Tyrone. I have visited that cemetary. Huntingdon Co GenWeb site has a map of 1873 Warriors Mark. It shows and names the location of each residance and buisness, located on the map is H Baughman and J baughman. They are near each other and may be part of Christian's land grant. We may not be searching for the same man, but should you run accross any info on him please pass it along and I will do the same.
