Surnames: Bishop
Warren, Linsley and A. Bishop were listed in the 1869 tax list for Franklin County, TN (and were on the list for no other years between 1867 and 1878). Warren and A. Bishop paid poll tax only. Linsley owned 160 acres and was probably the Linsey Bishop of Gilmer County, Georgia on the 1860 and 1870 Censuses. He had children born in Tennessee in 1864, 1866 and 1868. He appeared to have brothers named Asa and Warren, thus the Warren and A. Bishop above. They were natives of North Carolina as was their father, Hiram, and could be found in Watauga County, North Carolina in 1850.
