      <description>6 October 1953  Evening News of the Tonawandas&lt;br&gt;SUKDOLAK - Stephen Sukdolak, 65, of 482 Adam St., Tonawanda died Monday, Oct. 5, 1953 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.  He was born in Austria and resided in Tonawanda for the past 31 years.  Mr. Sukdolak was employed by the Spaulding Fibre Co. and was a member of St. Francis Church.  He is survived by his wife, Anna, nee Kolnek; a son, Karl; and two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Sitzmann, of the Tonawandas, and Mrs. Paul Thurman of Swarmsville; five children; and a sister, Mrs. James Gast of Los Angeles, Calif.  Friends may call at the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St., Tonawanda where services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and at 9 a.m. in St. Francis Church.  The Rt. Rev. John A. Weismantel will officiate.  Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.&lt;br&gt;</description>
