We're looking to find info on James Donaho, born in 1821. We believe he is from Kentucky but no verification on place of birth. He married Saray Payton in November of 1842 in Fulton County, Illinois. Looking for info on his father or mother also.

My gg grandfather may have been named James
Irving Donaho. He lists 3 children from
Illinois in the 1860 Shelby Co. Texas census
They are William age 20, James age 18 and
John Age 16. Other children he listed are
E.C. female 21 of Tenn. Martha 15 of Mo.
He lists his name as Ervin Donaho in this

connect? Please E mail.

I am doing some research on the Doahoes and would appreaciate any info I can get. My g Aunt Minnie (Donaho) Bland and my g grandmother, Minty or Minnethia (Donaho) Burch were twin daughters of Augustus Demalsa and Mary Frisby, grandaughters of Daniel Jr. Donaho and Ann Chance. He was the son of Daniel Donaho Sr. and Nancy Larimore. Daniel Jr. had a brother, Daniel Lewis Donaho Sr. who married Julia Ann Lewis and they had a son, Daniel Lewis Jr. "Tuck" along with other children. My g Aunt Minnie told me when I was 18 and she was in the earrly 80's that William Barrett Travis of the Alamo was her own uncle and I have heard that my grandmother always said he was a cousin. I'm searching the Donaho's to find that connection also, besides tracing them down. Would love to hear from you. Roberta
