dear daniel,
i am writing you because you are from county monaghan, i have a thomas mcadam as a witness to my grandparents wedding in 1893. my grandparent were patrick gormley and sara mckernan(mckearney). the marriage was at st marys catholic church. the other witness was anney mckearnan. i have all different spellings for the name mckearnan. does this ring a bell with you?

I am sorry but I do not know of a Thomas Mc Adam in our family . My family originates from fermanagh which is located beside Monaghan.
If you contacted the county library in my hometown of Clones Co.Monaghan they may be able to help you .

My family is from Fermanagh my GGF John P McAdam was one of six children born to John P McAdam & Isabella McAdam.At the time of their marriage(April 1882) they resided in Landbrock, Newtown Butler,Co Fermanagh Their fathers were Edward McAdam & Bernard McAdam. Two of my GGF siblings remained in Ireland and are buried in Galoon Edward & Margaret neither ever married.

I would appreciated any information you might share Thank you.
