Oops...this link is for Alleghany County, Pennsylvania.... not Allegany County, New York.

Page 261, does not mention Peter Cole

Page 240--- Mr & Mrs Peter Cole were members of The First Presbyterian Church Of Centreville, members about 1853.....

page 214-- Town Of Birdsall: "Peter M. Young, Jacob Young and others moved in during 1847. The Youngs were from Livingston County"

page 216--- "Jacob Young, a native of Monroe county, was born Oct 21, 1829. He came to Birdsall, from Livingston county, March 16, 1847. He has been supervisor of the town and has held many other offices of trust. He married Miss Harriet C. Dey, of Birdsall, Sept 18, 1860. Mr Young's occupation is dealing in horses and farming."
"Peter M Young came to Allegany county in 1847 from Livingston county. He was born in Monroe county in Sept 1827, and married Miss Sarah A. Batterson, May 24, 1849. He is a horse doctor and farmer. They have a family of seven children."
