I am looking for any relatives from my father's side of the family, Jose Corona Perez and his mother, Julia Perez Hurtado.

My father was born possibly in Las Juntas, Colima City or in Tuxcacquesco on March 19,1914. His mother was Julia Perez Hurtado born in Colima City, Colima in 1892. His father was also named Jose Corona Hernandez and he was born in the Cuidad de Guzman or in Tuxcacqueso. His father worked as a journalist for a newspaper company in Mexico City and was shot and killed for his political beliefs. It is believed that some of his brothers lived in Tuxcacquesco and owned a tequila/wine/beer company that in the early 1920-40's produced a product called Dos Coronas. One of my father's uncle name was Eusebio Corona. My father's grandparents on his fathers side were Pedro Corona and Maria Hernandez and his grandparents from his mother's side were Perfecto Perez and Leocadia Hurtado. My father passed away June 17,1999 and we never knew very much about our father or our grandmother's relatives. My father was an illegitimate child. Very little was known and or disclosed to us possibly because of the scandal and family disgrace that this cause back in 1914.

My father married Julia Farias Flores from Tepames,Colima in 1941 in the city of Manzanillo. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1954 where they had 3 children: Jose, Aurora Maria and Andrew.

Anybody having any information on either my father or grandmother's relatives please contact me. Thank You.

My father and his family are from Uruapan Michoacan. I'd love any information about the Corona family.

My grandfather was born in Mexico City and then moved to Uruapan as a boy.
