I am the Great Grand-daughter of Elizabeth Esther Bell who is the 6th child of Jane Panting Bell (the 1 year old daughter who accompanied her mother Elizabeth Crook Panting west with the Willie Handcart Company).

I am married to Daniel T Jones, whose Great-Great Grandfather was Captain James Grey Willie of the Willie Handcart Company. I have a story handed down of Captain Willie's and also of Jane Panting Bells'. I also have a some geneology of Jane's brother Christopher Panting, who settled here in the valley just north of Soda Springs, Idaho (where I currently live).

If you would like a copy of them I will scan and email them to you. If you have additional information on the family and would like to share it, that would be great!

I have a couple stories of Elizabeth and her children's journey from England and with the Willie Handcard Company. I have gotten them both through family members and also from a printed book. Let me know where to email them to you and I will.
