Saw your message.... My family is directly decendents of the Boddens. I have the family tree if you are interrested.
The Boddens are direct decendents of the Edens. The Edens go back to William Eden, {Capt*Army}Govenor General of Jamaica, arrived Grand Cayman 1765. Thomas Knowles Eden is the direct line for all Cayman Island Edends. They Tree turns into the Boddens cir 1892 etc.

I was just searching for my family and I noticed your post. I also have family on the Eden and Bodden side. I have traced my family on one side to William Eden VII. But, I still have very little information. I am also researching the Fosters of Cayman Brac. I can trace the Fosters to William Taylor Foster born in 1741. Any and all help is appreciated. I am greatly interested in what information you have.

I know that I am related to both the Boddens and the Edens. I have traced my family back to Cornelia Eden who was the daughter of William Eden and Dorothy Bodden who is descended from Isaac and William Bodden. I would greatly appreciate any other information. I am also related to the Fosters if you happen to have any information on them. I can be reached at blahh152@yahoo.com.

Read your posting with interest. How are you related to the Fosters. I presume through some connection on Cayman Brac?
