According to my grgrandmother's bible, my uncle, James Edward Allan, was born on 14th March 1890 in A**otea, Rio Arriba Co, NM. The handwriting is so flowery that I cannot read the name of the town. Can anyone help? This family came from Jamaica to Missouri, to La Plata Co., Colorado and then to New Mexico. The next son was born in Chama in 1892.

Thanks for any assistance

It was probably Azotea, a lumber camp in the vicinity of Monero.
