Is there an equivalent of the Mayflower society for descendants of the witches?

Elizabeth Jackson Howe - 9g grandmother (father's side)
Mary Clement Osgood - 8g grandmother (mother's side)

for desc of witches? no

for desc of accused? I have seen a few "supposed" groups but they don't clarify which to me so I don't consider them as valid. They don't seen to know the difference.
Being a hereditary myself I know for a fact from my ancestor's journals back to circa 1200 (and common sense) that true practitioners were NOT going to make it known so they & their families could be tortured to death, have their land taken etc. and the ones who did confess did so under duress and promises of release (which obviously were lies).
PS beware of online records showing descendeny of any major group. The comprise 98% of what you'll see.
Good luck, Sunny

one more thing - you might want to search for any DNA projects involving the accused in the Salem trials. DNA projects are being set up more & more lately for many surnames.

I just found your query---you may already have the information you need, but if not, try: Associated Daughters of Early American Witches.

There was, at one time, an organisation called "Son of a Witch" but to the best of my knowledge it now has gone inactive. A pity really, for I'm 11th in direct descent from John Alden (son of John and Priscilla) who was accused, escaped, and returned after the brouhaha was over and subsequently cleared by gubernatorial decree. Should you hear of an active group I'd love to hear of such.

know that this is late but hope some are still checking in.
does anyone have any hints or record of dyer, morris or even shattuck being involved in the craft or even accused?

I am trying to find the source of my bloodline.
