I descend from this Warner family. Henry was married to Susan Nicodemus. They had a son, Jacob, b.1-12-1775,d. 6-23-1835, married to Rosanna Lingenfelter. My mother is convinced they're from the same Warner line as George Washington's family...??!! Any leads on any of these Warners? Thanks

George WASHINGTON

Pam Melton,
Wasn't George Washington born in Virginia?
Augustine Warner was the emmigrant that settled in Virginia.
My Warners are from Vermont and G.father's middle name was Henry.
Moses b. 1741 supposedly in Ct. had a father who died in 1753 in the French War.
Any help on the Warners?

Pam, well if 'ole Henry Warner is related to George Washington, then George spoke German as his first language. I know George Rex III did so but not G.W. There is a baptism record in Frederick Lutheran Church (Frederick, MD) for who appears to be our Henry b. December 17, 1754 which is a good match to the year of birth calculated from his age in the 1789 Woodbury Twp., Bedford Co., PA tax roll. He and his children's families came to Randolph Twp., Montgomery Co., OH in 1881 after having sold his farm back in PA.

That's 1811 when Henry came to Montgomery Co., OH. Slip of the fingers.

Hi I am researching my family's lineage & I have a 4th & 5th Grandfather's who originated from Wittenburg, Germany. Henry Warner came to Randolph township in Ohio. I have Him & His Wife's Grave Stone on my Family's Tree. It sounds like you are trying to find this part of your tree also. let me know if you are interested in the info that I have found. Tuesee

I am not sure, but I think Henry had a son named Anderson Warner; who happens to be my great grandfather. I have been searching for years to confirm his parents. I show Anderson John Warner being born in Ohio abt. 1850.
Does this tie in with Henry Warner?

My Henry Warner line has an Anderson Warner, born ca. 1850 in Miami Co., OH, to Henry H. Warner (1812-1899) and Catrherine Seas (1813-1901). I have nothing further on him other than the 1850 census.
