Jacob's parents were Thomas Cogar b 1811 in Franklin County, Va, WV and Anna Mace b 1815, died December 11, 1904...Thomas 's parents were Catherine Cogar b 1792 in Botetourt County, VA, WV,and William Campbell b between 1780-1790...Catherine parents were Peter Cogar b September 17, 1753 in Rockingham County, VA, WV,and Mary McElwain born 1761 died 1826...I know Thomas was still alive in 1886 because he married a Malinda Whitlatch September 9, 1886 in Calhoun County...
