I am a descendant of the Seay family of Arkansas. My grandfather was Richard Seay, died in 1918. His children were Clifford, Lona, Frank, and Howard G. (my father.) I haven't run across any of these folks in the geneology offered on-line. My father was born on 9/10/08 in Greene Co. Arkansas. If you have any infor, please write. Thanks!

Melody - I found none of the names you listed in my family tree - but am still inputting Seay info from family in Missouri and Texas, so who knows!

My immediate Seay family is from Arkansas also - feel we may have a connection on that fact alone. My grandmother was Elizabeth Ellen Ware b Houston, AR , daughter of Rutha Elizabeth Seay b 8-19-1872 b AR or MS d 1947 Waldron, Scott County, AR. Greene Co AR is upper NE AR and Perry and Scott Counties where my Seay-Brand-Ware's are from is central and SW AR so they could have migrated across. Rutha had a brother James Madison Seay b 9-24-1874 in Van Buren Co AR. I don't know if she had other siblings or not. Rutha's parents were John Cunningham Seay and N.L. Hutchins both b MS and married in MS 1-11-1871. You can e-mail me direct at SnowJohns@AOL.COM if you want more info or have more on yours I could check out. dee johns from OK

I don't have my information with me, I ma trying to piece together his family. i have several conflicting points of information concerning the parents _Jessie Seay, Abraham Seay, etc. There is also a Jamie Seay Book, a family history that was done in the 60's.
