I am a descendant of John Turnbull and his first and perhaps only legal wife Agnes McCaul of Albany and Schenectady Counties. He was born about 1750 in Scotland, as was Agnes. Their son Charles b. 1776 near Schenectady, NY was my ancestor and then it goes Parris R., Robert James, Harvey Alexander, I rena Rose, Julia Louise and Me. would be happy to trade info with you.

Hello
I am researching American Loyalists and have the name Thomas Turnbull from Albany County, New York in my database.
He was a merchant in Albany and joined the Port Roseway Associated Loyalists in 1782 after he had come to New York City from Albany.
He left New York City with other Loyalists for Port Roseway(Shelburne), Nova Scotia in 1783.
I would like to know more about him.
Regards,
Elizabeth Lapointe

Hi, I would love to correspond with anyone who is researching the Turnbull's from New York. My husband is Robert Turnbull from Pittsfield Ma, and his relation is to Agnes. I just signed up for Ancestory, so I am still learning. It would be great share stories. Do you know where Agnes is from in Scotland? Take care, Jen.
