I am looking for this census for John Franklin Boone Birth 1852-1854

also looking for Winnie Ellafair Lloyd Birth 1854

I an trying to see if they were listed as indians on this census
or maybe 2 others
1870 us census of Escambia County Alabama or
1900 US census of Escambia County Alabama
I have looked on line on several places and not had any luck
i would love to have a copy of these Census if i could find them
my ancestory are creek indians of Pourch Alabama
Looking for information and was told that these were where i need to look

I haven't really seen a special Indian census.. Am looking through the Federal Indian censuses..did you look at the link I sent as well.. It's alabama sites

Those links look great... the Monroe Co AL census had a couple pages at the end for Indians. Here's a post I did earlier:

Thanks for your clue ... I searched for it and found it. For those that are interested and have access, it is the last two pages of the Monroe Co, AL 1900 FC.

Go to: Monroe Co, Precinct 13. It is 40 pages. Page 39 and 40 are the Indian Census, and they appear to be copies of each other. Here's ancestry.com's:

Interesting.. don't think I have ever seen a special census.. I am Calif. Indian .. and we didn't have a trail of tears like the Cherokee did.. maybe that's why..Thanks for sharing that info.. I learned something new...Karen
