Per the book Argo in America by Wesley Argo on page 188:

David Argo (born 1803-4) was the second son of Nimrod & Lucinda Argo. David, who was a farmer, married Mary, and they settled in Dekalb County, Alabama. They eventually moved to Newton County (presumably in GA).

David and Mary had the following children:
Francis Marion (b1829)
Nancy C (b. 1833)
Matilda K (b 1835)
Jackson (b. 1836 or 7)
Willis M (b. 1837-8)
Lewis David (b. 1839-40)
Edmond (b. 1843-4)
Amanda J (b. 1842)
Mary A (b. 1846)
William B (b. 1848)

I am looking for descendants of this family. If anyone descends from this line, then I would love to here what you know about Matilda K & Nancy C.

They both married my ancestor William K Smith in 1873 and 1876, respectively. I am hopeful this may lead to new info on William K Smith (b circa 1808 in GA) who lived his later years in Cherokee and Dekalb County, Alabama.

Thanks,

Mickey Smith
Atlanta, GA

Correction - David & Mary lived in Dekalb, Georgia prior to moving to Newton, GA as seen on 1850 and 1860 Federal census.
