Nicholas Gosnell born abt 1802 Married Sarah McIntire,
lived and died in Ohio: had the following known children:

"Allen Charles, John J, Benjamin Franklin, William and James Blaine Gosnell."
They lived in the Muskingum and Guernsey Co, Ohio areas in 1830-1840.

Does any of these ring any bells with anyone?

Harold

Harold that's my family line and the brick wall that I can't get past. The sons all ended up in Lawrenceville Illinous except for my John J Gosnell who died in Kalida, Putnam Co, Ohio 1858. Any information would be appreciated.

Maryland is what I'm looking for but the post said Nicholas b. about 1802. Was this a son or grandson. I'm looking for parents of my Rachel Ann Gosnell b. ca. 1826 so the one born about 1802 could be the one I'm looking for.

Hi, What documentation do you have that Nicholas married Sarah Morris? I've seen in minutes of Greenville, SC Baptist church that a Nicholas Gosnell was censured for his marriage to Sarah Morris as there was no proof her first husband had died. I wondered if this was the same Nicholas who later turned up in Rutherford Co, NC. Would love to exchange info.
