It would help a whole lot if you put down the name, male or female and any other information you may have. You have pretty much left this query very, very open!!
and perhaps a better date and to what kind of date your looking at.

I also have St. Jean's who are from the Lowell Mass area. Let me know who and when you are looking for and perhaps we may have a connection.

here is what I have, thanks to a cousin from upstate NY.
Jean Baptiste St Jean married Julie L'Heureux
child: Joseph Jean St Jean
Joseph married Rosanna Thiffault
Children:
Marie, Rebecca, Emma, Pamela. Joseph, Corinne George, John(Guillaume), Rolande, Louise(my connection) Raoul( my new cousin's connection) Edward, Bertha and Gerald.
Louise married Bartholomew McCarthy
They had a son Joseph McCarthy and that is my grandfather!
Hope we can connect somewhere along the line. I also have a 1948 city directory from Lowell. If you need any information from it, let me know. Linda Sobers Montclair NJ

I looked into my family tree again and it seems that some family was from Lowell, but most are from Fall River. Some are in Lowell, but their last names aren't St. Jean although they tie it to the family. I will keep you in mind should I find a link to the ones you listed. Thanks for you help. I am in NH and I understand that my St. Jean relatives are from the St.Simmons area in Canada. We have Couillard, Bernard, and Martin as other names in the family. I have also found out that some of the St.Jean's in the family changed their name to St. John. All so very interesting.

Hi Michelle,
Looks like there is not a connection. I will keep your e-mail and maybe in the future we may find out differently. Linda Sobers Montclair NJ

I'm sorry but those names are not in my line as of yet. The Martin name that I am looking for is Isidore Martin. Although there is a young man Martin that is in the line, but as of yet, I don't know what his name is. He lived with my Great, great grandmother for quite some time but it is my understanding that he was young boy and had some problems. If your names come up I will be sure to let you know. The lady that Isidore married was Anne Vitaline Couliard (of course it was spelled all kinds of ways). If you get any link to me let me know as well.
