Yvonne, please email me and I will try and fill you in on your William Byars. Do you know his father's name? I have been working on the Byars family for about 6 years and am just now getting down to business. I have traced my Byars family back to 1675. Will be more than happy to share with you. Sue

Reference your query regarding William Byars. My great great great grandfather was William Byars, b circ 1755-60, VA., d circ 1819 SC, m Elizabeth Bedford, b1763, PA. d 1847 Calhoun County, MS. William's father was James (Jonas) Byars, b circ 1730, ?VA?, d ?SC?, m Frances (Fanny) Collins circ 1750. I would like to confirm the questionable information I have on James (Jonas) Byars and
earlier, which I have none. Thanks.

My 5th great grandfather was William I. Byars (Jonas James Byars, James Henry Byars Sr., John Byars). Looks like we are researching the same line. I would like to correspond and exchange information with you.
