"The Old Farmers Almanac 1984 by Robert B. Thomas
pg. 92 "They Rested in Sporadic Peace-or Pieces (Not to be read by the squeamish)
The American Revolution ended 200 years ago. Would you like to know what happened to some of its heroes?...by John Eastman
...the great toe knuckle of John Andre, the British soldier hanged as a spy in 1780. The Closter's Public Library obtained its fragment of John Andre in 1976 from the descendants of David Doremus. Doremus, a carpenter, had built Andre's new coffin in 1821 for shipment of the bones to Westminister Abbey in London. But he had somehow overlooked the toe bone, & his family had locked it away for generations in a bank vault." You never know what genealogy will turn up. Not my family.

What kind of information are you looking for? My great-grandpa's name is Peter A. Doramus. My grandfather's name was Frank Doramus, brother of Chancey. Uncle Tom lived in the Pocatello, Idaho area. My father's name is William A. Doramus. I would like to see the picture you have of Peter Doramus. We have a family picture of Peter and his family. A lot of Doramus' are in southern Idaho and also in Kansas. Please keep in touch. Thanks...always good to find family.
