Surnames: Fleurant, St Amour, Bouchet, Boucher.
My family line went through some transition. They originated in France and used the name St Amour Boucher. In Quebec. A Fleurant St Amour Bouchett appeared and from that point the family adopted his fist name as the family name. Within my line a Jean Baptiste Fleurant married a Cecile dit Thecle Aubry in 1773. His fathers name was Jean Fluerant dit St Amour Bouchet. Does this conect with any ones line.

Surnames: Bouchet dit St. Amour, Bouchet, D'Amour
The first Bouchet dit St. Amour in Quebec was Jacques Hyacinthe b. July 20 1664 in France, son of Pierre BOUCHET and Renee D' Amour. The Fleurent you mention was the son of Jacques Hyacinthe, b. May 17 1710 at Montreal. he was the only surviving son of this emigrant family.

Sharyn
