Surnames: O'Toole, Toole, Folan, Bodkin
August 23,1860, Patrick Toole, a farrier, married Bridget Bodkin, a physician's daughter, in Clifden Church in the Parish of Omey, County of Galway. Bridget's father's name was Frank Bodkin. Patrick's father was Thomas Toole, or Thomas O'Toole, also a farrier. Patrick may have been a Catholic until then, and may have dropped the "O" when he was married in the English Church.
If you've come across Bridget Bodkin Toole in your research, please let me know.
