I am looking for information on my great
grandmother, Hannah Herron, married to
Christopher C. Keith. They had 4 children
and lived in the Grundy County area of Mo.
I don't know much about her. Any info. would
be appreciated.

Hannah E. Herron was b. Aug. 10, 1853 in IN. She married Christopher Columbus Keith Jan. 5, 1873. He farmed and had a sawmill in Grundy Co., MO. They had four children: W.B. b. Nov. 14, 1873 in MO; Almire Jennie b. July 29, 1875 in IA and she m. W. E. Marsh; Cora Mae b. Mar. 1, 1877 in MO and d. in San Antonio, TX and m. twice, Roland Ruble & Fred Stone; Carrie B. b. Oct. 19, 1878 in MO and m. George Boyd. Hannah E. Keith d. December 18, 1878 and was bur. in the Bethel Cem., Grundy Co., MO. Christopher C. Keith m. 2nd. Rachel P. Dinsmore and had four more children and adopted one other. They moved to Trenton, Grundy Co., MO and he d. Apr. 2, 1936 and is bur. in Maple Grove Cem.

Hi John,
I just found your reply to my posting on rootsweb about my Hannah Herron. I really appreciate the info. Do you know anything about the adopted daughter of Christopher Keith and Rachel Dinsmore? The only thing I know is her name is Thelma. Thanks again.

Anne,
Thelma Elizabeth Keith was b. Dec. 7, 1905 in Trenton, MO and d. at age 27 of tuberculosis on Jan. 7, 1933 in Trenton. She never married. She is buried in Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton.

Hi John,
Thanks for the info. I didn't know Thelma's middle name and that she died of tuberculosis. Do you know what her last name was before it became Keith?

I had mentioned in my first posting that Hannah was my great grandmother but she is my gg grandmother. :o)
