Surnames: Delong, De Long
Hello.........not knowing exactly the dates you are in search of...kind hard to locate the generations.
We marched down our line...George/Elizabeth...David Sr.,
Joseph, Samuel ( 1874-1957), Milo to me.
George had no Samuel back in the late 1770s.
Neither did our David Sr./Jane Law.
Their son, Joseph...our great grandfather......a Samuel
our grandfather...dates as above.
Think no contact...........use e-mail above.
Gerald.

Your Edward and our David were brothers, sons of George and Elizabeth (Ward) De Long.
We follow this family in Penn. thru the late 1700s...to a stop in Belmont Co., Ohio in early 1800s...to Guernsey Co. Ohio where Geo. and Elizabeth passed on and are buried on family farm.
Edward and David both on to Perry Co. farms....within about three miles of each other.
Then they both to Iowa in early 1840s. Our David to stop in Washington Co.....a brother Leonard in Keokuk Co. just to the West and your Edward to Mahaska Co....another Co. west.
Several pages from Aileen De Long...from your line.
The Edward cemetary in Mahaska Co. on the former family farm has been rescued....cleaned up and will be dedicated soon. We have information on this, if interested. We were privleged to get to help on this.
More info...at our e-mail site. Gerald
