H. Earl Ferguson
H. Earl Ferguson, 84, of Schellsburg, R.D. 1, died Tuesday, April 12, 1977, at the Rowzer Rest Home, New Paris RD.
He was born May 12,1892, in Bedford County, a son of the late Charles and Carrie (Ferguson) Raley.
He was married to the former Ethel Adams who preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons: Cloyd C., of, Schellsburg; Ralph D., of Schellsburg, R.D., 1; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two half-brothers, William and Dallas Raley, of Bedford, R.D. 2; and a half-sister, Mrs. Verna Taylor, of Jeannette. He was preceded in death by two half-sisters and a half-brother.
Mr. Ferguson was a retired PennDOT employee with 25 years of service. He was a member of the Point United Methodist Church where he was a former Sunday school teacher and past superintendent.
Funeral services: Thursday, April 14, at 2 p. m. in the, Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with Rev. Charles F Rhodes, officiating. Burial in the Fishertown Cemetery.
Friends will be received in the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
