I have a John W(esley) Bignar, born June, 1850 and married to Asenath Jones. They had 10 children.

I show John W(esley) as the son of John M. Bigner (b. 1821, GA and died about 1865) and married to Sarah A. (Unknown). Children from John M. Bigner and Sarah A. Unknown were:
1. John W(esley) Bignar, b. June 1850 , Pike County, MS, and died 9 Feb. 1927, Tangipahoa Parish, LA.
2. Mary. E.F. Bignar, b. 1845, MS.
3. Margaret R. Bignar, b. 1846, MS
4. Catherine Bignar, b. 1847, MS

I show John M. Bigner as the son of John Bigner and Unknown.
Questions:
Is this John M. Bigner the same as John Millage Bigner?
Was this John M. Bigner the son of John W. Bignar, born in 1796 in SC? I have nothing on this John W. Bignar (1706 SC) and would like to know who he marrried? Who were his Children? Where did he live and die? Who were his parents, etc???
Any help will be appreciated.

I am looking for a Bigner and you might be able to help. My grandfather married a lady in 1900-1902 who had been married to a, I believe John Bigner who worked and was killed working on the railroad. My gradfather, Benjamin, and Mr. Bigner were good friends and that is why he married, Rosie Bigner. Do you have any information or have you heard of these two names before in your reseaerch? Please let me know.
