I'm looking for more information reguarding Mima Bartley Bartley
Mitchell's parents.

Mima's father was Eli, and her mother was Margaret ?
I have seen her mother's maiden name as Baker, Potter, and Puckett.
I am just confused about this.

Mima later married Baxter Bartley (Baxter's parents were
Elihu and Sarah Bowling Bartley) and had 3 daughters with
him, Ethel (my great-grandmother), Hattie, and Mary.
Baxter was killed in a mining accident around 1900,
but I don't know where.

Is anyone out there related to these folks?

I have some info on both Mima Bartley and Mima Bartley Childers. You may e-mail me at Bartleyinfo@aol.com and I will be glad to help you try and sort it out. It gets mighty confusing. I have connected over 5000 in what started out to be just a short family search.

I am Hattie's great grand daughter. My family doesn't know much about Mima's ancestry either. I can tell you that Baxter was killed in a mining accident in Pike Co. Ky. That's where most of us still live.
