Hi, I have quite a bit of info on Indiana Silvers. Much of it is from the Jay County, Delaware County, Randolph County areas. If you want to give me some info as a starting point, I will see what I have.

Thanks Darrin. finally got a marriage date, it appears that the grandfather was born in Corning Ind. and grandmother born Brownsville Ind. but were married in Coverington Kentucky. Strange I know. Have sent away for copy of Marriage record, maybe then my direction will go to Kentucky. The family says they were from Kentucky just don't have the proof yet. Much thanks for the intrest.

I also have "silvers" in my family. Rosa McNamee (b. Ireland) married Paul Bradley (b. Ireland) and had quite a few children. One child, Mary, married John O'Connor (Conners) in Lexington, Kentucky. One of their children, Rose, Married Thomas Silvers. They had five children, who in the 50's and 60's lived around Somerset, Kentucky. I am from the Bradley side. I have not much on the Silvers family. Though in your posting, you mentioned that their was a marriage in Coverington Ky. I believe, it should be Covington, Kentucky (located across the river from Cincinnati.) Let me know if this is a relation to you. Thank you, Patti

Patti,
Thanks for your response. Your right .. Marrigae was Covington Ky. Just bad typing. On the the marriage record from Ky. Witnesses were Geo. B. Prather and Miss Flo Silvers. Dont' know if there is a connection. So many Silvers/ Silver to try to put a connection in Ohio/Kentucky and Indiana and a few other states. still Trying to work on this line.

Surnames: Jacobs, Silvers
I'm searching for information on a Sarah Jane Silvers born August 1859 in Indiana. She married a John Samuel Jacobs on 10 Jan 1878 in Randolph County, Indiana.

Her parents may be Aaron Silvers and Christina Fouse/Foust/Fous?

Any leads or information you can provide are appreciated.
