My sister-in-law recently found our Martha D. Locke buried in Grayson Co., Tx in 1882. We have she and her husband William C. Locke and great deal on them. I have her lineage but not his, just a clue of lineage. We're looking for the rest of their children besides our direct line. I'd like to correspond with you or anyone on the Locke family. There are Sweenys here in Monroe Co., Tenn, so maybe there's a connection. Thanks.

Hello Joy,
I know your post was back in 2003. I have posted about my grand father Elvis M. Locke and
would like to know more about William C. Locke and Martha D. Martin his wife.

I'm pretty sure that I am from that line.

Who was Williams father and mother? Was it Francis Locke and Mary McLelland? I don't have
any proof that is true. And are we decedents of Col. Francis Locke, the Revolutionary
War patriot. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you so much,
