I have a Koger relative that I am pursuing as well. My relatives are in South Carolina, is that where you are looking as well?

Hi Clement:

Just checking in, it is has been a while. I have no new information about my Geneva Koger but I suspect that her brother or dad or some other close relative was a Baptist preacher. I have been looking in some old county books and see a Rev. Koger listed again and again.

I would love to touch base again. Please drop me a line on the board or as a private message. I do not know much about my Koger relatives and am eager to connect to someone who is researching the same line.

I hope that all is well on your end.

-Jennifer

Hi Duane:

Was Phyllis Koger in Colleton County? Does the name Geneva Koger sound familiar to you?

Thanks!

I found my Koger/Coger GGgrandmother! It was a name mix-up on my part. She is Jane Koger, and not "Geneva" Koger. Anyway, there is more of the discussion here:
