Hi Carol,

I am presently looking for an Ann Pardoe that married William Smith in Birmingham, Eng. Would this be the same Ann you are seeking? You did not mention any dates but my Ann was born around 1854 and was married to Wm on May 25, 1874 in St Mark's parrish, Birmingham, Eng. If this is the same Ann, I have her picture. Contact me at fcapnerhurst@msn.com. Hope to hear from you soon,
Faith Capnerhurst

Hi Carol,

Since posting this message I have been able to find out a lot more about my Pardoe connection. My Ann was born to Thomas and Ann Pardoe in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Eng. With the exception of Ann, who moved to B'ham, that family seems to have stayed in Wolverhampton. With the generous help of some kind listers on the Warwickshire mailing list, I have Ann's birth family on the Censuses and actually have Ann's father, Thomas in his birth family, father John and mother Mariah. They are in Wolverhampton in 1841. Perhaps we are related laterally somehow? Best wishes with your research and if you would like me to share what I have with you, I would be happy to.

Regards,
Faith

Thanks for getting back to me, Carol. Don't feel bad about the delay, of course your health takes the priority over the family tree research. I would be interested to know if your line comes from Wolverhampton, though. Whenever you get the time, I would love to hear back from you on that.

Take care,
Faith
