I am at a brick wall in finding my next generation back in my DeLong ancestry. I've found a reference in one publication to a Magdalena DePuy who was baptized in Kingston, NY - most likely born in the early 1700's - who first married a Peter Casnoy/Carly and then married a Francis/Frans Delong/DeLang. Does anyone have information on this woman and her husbands/children? Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

Karen

Magdalena Depuy b.1726 in Kingston, NY d/o Nicholas (Wynkoop) Depuy b. 12/3/1682 in Kingston, NY d.1762 in Rochester, NY and Wintje d'Jong (Pells) Roosa b. 6/4/1682 in Kingston, NY d. bef 1762.

She married Peter Carly (no further information). They had a daughter, Hannah (DePuy) Carly b. 5/9/1742 in Smithfield, PA.

Magdalena also married a Francis DeLang (no futher information).

Hannah (DePuy) Carly is shown as married to Francis DeLang but I doubt she married her father. There are three children listed: Benjamin (Carly) DeLang baptized 12/1/1763 in the Smithfield Reformed Dutch Church, Monore Co., PA, Sarah (Carly) DeLang baptized 12/1/1763 in Smithfield Reformed Dutch Church, Monroe Co., PA and Arie (Carly) DeLang baptized 12/1/1763 in Smithfield Reformed Dutch Church, Monore Co., PA

Note that all three children were baptized at the same time in the same place.

Contact me via e-mail and I will give you the name of the DePuy researcher that developed this information.
