The FHC has church records for Marienfließ from 1810-1874 on microfilm. I helped an individual with her ancestor, Ehrenfried Geilenfeld, who was from Marienfließ.

I am trying to locate info about a town in Poland called Marianowo (Its old German name was Marienfliess). It is located about halfway between Szczecinski and Dobrzany on the north end of a lake in the Zachodniopomorski province of northwest Poland.

Also looking for more info about my great grandfather, Herman Dallmann and his brother Charles F.
They left that area (Kreis Saatzig) in 1883 and settled
in Milwaukee Wis and later in Missoula Montana.

Their fathers name was Christian F (Ferdnent) Dallman(n) and their mothers name was Louisa Medenwald or Metevelt.

Thankyou ...

Larry Dallmann

Thankyou for your fast response.

I have searched through the following reels
to no avail. Note Marienfliess records from 1834 to
1860 are missing. The Marriage and birth info I need
occurr within that time frame.

My mother, my grandmother and grandfather are born in GOLDBECK near Marienfliess - office Bueche/Wiechowo.
Today in Poland this little village is called SULINO.
My grandmother and grandfather are born in this village
14.09.1900 in GOLDBECK -name of birth Berta RÄHSE or RAEHSE
21.07.1900 in GOLDBECK - name ROHDE Erich ROHDE
they married in GOLDBECK in the year 1928 or 1927
15.02.1929 in GOLDBECK - name Irene ROHDE - her daughter was born.

My mother and grandparents left GOLDBECK in march 1945 in world war II, when the russians came nearer and nearer. So they had no birth-documents and no passports - nothing. In West Germany they lived near Hamburg. My mother Irene ROHDE (now: ADERMANN) still lives here in a little town near Hamburg, called BAD OLDESLOE.

Can you help me to find the documents ?
Were can I find the archive in Poland ?
Were can I look into the microfilms ?
Do you have an adress or fax-number ?
We often have visited the old hometown of my mother and grandparents and we found a lot of friends in this polish village. But nobody can tell us somethings about documents from the church in GOLDBECK/Sulino or in BUECHE/Wiechowo or in MARIENFLIESS/Marianowo or the office.

Thanks a lot for your answer . Please e-mail me to:
adermann@gmx.de oder gdshamburg@web.de

Best regards from
Mr. Norbert Adermann

Larry,

I don't know if you are still active on this thread, but I think our family stories intersect.
My great great grandmother was Anna Louisa Medenwald (1813-1897) from Barskewitz, Kreis Saatzig, Pommern. She was married to (and widowed by) Ferdinand Jordan (1812-1846) and Friedrich Ewest 1820-c. 1850s) in Barskewitz and to August Gehloff in Kreis Filehne, Posen. Her daughter Friederike Wilhelmine (1844-1922) (my great grandmother), by Jordan married Wm. Christian Dahlman (1842-1915).
In the Barskewitz church yard there is a sign in German in memory of the German residents who died in the war put up by the Evangelical Church of Marienfliess.
If any of these people sound like your family members, let me know and we can swap information.
