Howdy.

I am in search of siblings and parents of John Leland T. (b.1910, DePere, WI, married Viola Wierschke) - trying to find out how (if at all) he fit into my line.

Also searching for German Kirchenbuch info on August T. (b.8-21-1827, Budzin, Prussia (prob. Bautzen, Saxony, DE these days), d.1-4-1909 Rockland, WI), any and all of his siblings and father's info (Christopher, b.Germany).

I have a copy of the microfilm for Budsin, Posen, Germany. Tetzlaff were in Jankendorf parish. I just saw August Tetzlaff's baptism record last nite. August had an older sister named Wilhelmina, born about 1824, she married Friedrich Werner in about 1847. August Tetzlaff's mother's name was Dorthea Menge.
If you look at the 1870 Census of Rockland, you will find Dorthea Menge Tetzlaff living with her grandson, August Werner, my great great grandfather.

Hi Uncle Elmo,
My name is Sharon (Sherry) Dake Tetzlaff. Uncle Leland was my Uncle. They lived right down the road from us. My Dad was Everett Elmer Tetzlaff. His fathers name John Tetzlaff married to Minnie Bohn. Leland and Viola had 10 or 11 children. There was also a brother who's name was Roland. He died of spinal menjitas? when he was 12 years old. He is buried in the Wrightstown Lutheran cemetery along with my Great Grandma & Grandpa. My Dad,Mom, Uncle Leland, Viola 7 Grandma & Grandpa Tetzlaff are all buried in Greenwood Cemetery in DePere, WI.
I have done some research on my Gr. Grandfather and found an article in the archives that he held several town offices. Came from Germanay in 1850, was in Milwaukee a few years and settled in Rockland township in Brown County. My Dad and Uncle Leland also had farms in that same area.
When I have more time will do more research. If you would like a copy of the findings on my Gr. Grandpa August please let me know. Hope this was helpful.
