Hi Roy,
Following is the will of John Grammer, Jr. (husband of Sarah Noblett Grammer)

Book 2, p. 277
Lincoln County, TN.

I, JOHN GRAMMER, DO MAKE AND PUBLISH THIS AS MY LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT, HEREBY REVOKING AND MAKING VOID ALL OTHER WILLS BY ME AT ANY TIME MADE. FIRST, I DIRECT THAT MY FUNERAL EXPENSES AND ALL MY DEBT BE PAID AS SOON AFTER MY DEATH AS POSSIBLE OUT OF ANY MONEY THAT I MAY DIE POSSESSED OF OR MAY FIRST COME INTO THE HANDS OF MY EXECUTOR.
SECONDLY, I GIVE AND BEQUEATH TO MY WIFE, SARAH GRAMMER, ALL MY LAND AND PROPERTY AFTER THE DEBTS ARE PAID DURING HER LIFETIME AND THEN TO BE SOLD AND DIVIDED EQUALLY BETWEEN ALL MY LAWFUL HEIRS AFTER WILLIAM GRAMMER AND PETERSON GRAMMER IS PAID THE AMOUNT THAT THEY HAVE PAID IN THE LAND.
LASTLY, I DO HEREBY NOMINATE AND APPOINT MY SONS, WILLIAM GRAMMER AND PETERSON GRAMMER, MY EXECUTORS, IN WITNESS WHEREOF I DO, TO THIS MY WILL AND SET MY HAND AND SEAL THIS 16TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1858.

BRUCE AND JOHN L. ASHBY, THE SUBSCRIBING WITNESSES THERETO-WHEREUPON IT IS ORDERED BY THE COURT TO BE SO CERTIFIED AND RECORDED AS THE LAW DIRECTS. WITNESS, DAVID J. WHITTINGTON CLERK OF OUR SAID COURT IN FAYETTEVILLE THE 1ST MONDAY IN SAID MONTH.

The above will of John Grammer, Jr. seems to prove that John Grammer, Jr. died sometime after November 16, 1858 and before January 1859.
